Yea twitch VODS are flaky, but there are work arounds. Like adding more space for the video player. And you can also upload your twitch VODS to youtube with just a click of a button and twitch uploads it to youtube for you.

OK . So... I'll be frank. We have a minor issue. And that issue is that people just aren't signing up. Right now, we seem to have about nine people signed up for Duel, and zero people/teams signed up for CA. I'm just putting this out there so that anyone who wants to stream/watch/compete knows that this is where we stand.

Ouch. I bet I'm not alone in being guilty of temporarily avoiding the signups due to the fear of an unknown schedule. But I'm interested, so I'll take a closer look and register as soon as I get on my computer and have my schedule in front of me. I'll make it work, hope this thing starts working out better for you very soon!

In terms of schedule, we're planning on playing a couple of hours a day on weekdays, starting around 8 PM EDT. Then we'll just go through eliminations until we're down to the top contenders- it'll take about four days with the people we have signed up right now. If more people sign up, then probably double that.

Gangland, do we have a CA team? Are we signing up? Who else is on it? I think it would be worth it to sign up if for nothing else we might get a scrim against one other team.
Only 9 people signed up for duel? The only reason I haven't signed up is because I figured I'd sign up for the amateur division since anybody who takes duel seriously is bound to dominate me. I figured with having only a competitive division I should probably stay away. With only 9 people though, I might sign up anyway. What's the last day for sign ups? If there's not too many I'll throw my name in for the fun of it.

Funk, I gotta step out really soon, so some of this might not be accurate info, but I'll update when I get back. The last day to sign up is pretty much by Tuesday ish, as we need to start coming up with match pairings. And again, as of this posting, there is literally nobody signed up for CA, but that could change  |

Are duel pairings random? If not, will you be able to pair me? I have zero duels on my record. I could be a stand in filler if you have a spot you can't quite fill and don't want to give someone a bye round.

The pairings are random insofar as we will not take requests from players to be matched up against certain people. Pairings will be based on your Tier (shown on your in-game profile) and ELO (as shown by QLRanks). We can just match you up against someone if you want to; we certainly have enough open spots. We just need your email for that.

I didn't sign up for CA because didn't know if we have enough players who can/will commit. I can play. We would need to find out if Suidd, DSG, Lowlife, and Funky can play. Hopefully Blindl1ght can play too?? That makes a 5 man team with one alt. So,, challenge!!  ) |

Depending on interest from other clans, I can lower the teamsize to 3v3 or 4v4. As long as enough people (at this point, we'll run CA if there's 4-5 teams total signed up instead of 8... so about 30 people total), we're willing to run it |

I'm definitely in for CA. Does everyone need to sign up individually as "I will set up my own team of 5" or does only one person from the team need to sign up?
Maybe someone should start a countdown on that QL message board thread. Like X number of days left to sign up or X number of days until the tourny begins. Keep spamming it on a daily basis to keep it on the "what's new" tab.

If you're signing up as a team, then only one person need sign up for the whole team. If you're signing up on your own because you don't have a team/want to be set up in a randomized team, then you just sign up. Oh, that's a good idea! I wish I'd thought of that... We're totally doing that now, thanks for the idea |

I can definitely take part in a CA team, Gangland! I do work Monday and Friday evenings and wont be home till late, so if there's a workaround for that if it conflicts then I'd be happy to participate.

OK, so we have a 3 man team for sure. I can be online as early as 8PM PST on Weekdays, M-F. Weekends are wide open for me. I will send Blindl1ght a pm next time I see him online, or if anyone else sees him, ask him if he's interested in playing.
