I thought it would be a tall order for the dutch to qualify, but also thought they easily had the quality to get the 2 goals required.

Only themselves to blame really.

Maybe it's time for the dutch to ditch the "older" generation of player and start playing the younger lads? A bit like what the Germans did at the previous world cup.

Right all we need now is for England to implode so the missus stops the moaning about the football lolol.

I'm hoping we beat the Ukraine and Sweden get at least a draw against France. Just so we avoid Spain.

But in reality I can see us just playing for the draw.

I agree...the way they were playing they didn't deserve it. First 15 minutes or so they were playing really well and then all their supposed qualities went down the drain lol. I've actually been thinking the same thing about the generation replacement, obviously what they're doing now isn't working, it's time for a change.

I hope you guys beat Ukraine too, I thought you didn't play too shabby, but sometimes you need a little bit of luck too. If you're against Spain I think you're doomed, lolol.

Kuyt is actually the only one who can run 100 times the field without being slowed down..he has a superb condition. I don't understand why he didn't make it to the start selection. Same goes for Huntelaar, heitinga and van der vaart for the 2 matches before last night.

Oh well. Let's see in about 2 years. Because playing against a team as Portugal and ending up 1-2 is pretty good, portugal could get easily 4 goals.

I really didn't understand why the coach didn't put Kuyt in either, the amount of work he can do and his tirelessness is amazing... Plus he doesn't have half the ego of 3 of the other players together.

Btw Exp, I sympathize with you on your loss, I know how it feels lol! At least you didn't lose shamefully!

OMG we play rubbish and still top the group. lololol.

I actually fell asleep during the match it was so boring. Got a swift kick in the ribs when I started snoring lol.

Dirk Kuyt is a legend. I was more upset about him leaving the mighty reds than I was with Torres.
