Drunk Clan on Steam.. (Read 2,556 times)

Ok I downloaded QLExtra and I'm not seeing anything like what you guys are describing.  In fact it looks exactly the same as the regular match browser and doesn't seem to add anything to the game at all.  What am I doing wrong?  I also can not see what Swampy is talking about either, when I run QLExtra is automatically opens both Steam and QL.

It doesn't do an overlay anymore.. It doesn;t have a match browser anymore, The few scripts it runs..have to be done in the console. Go to the workshop and d/l Steam Server Browser, That's what you want....

Where do you find those console commands to make it do something?  So far all I can get make it do is open the game.

How did you guys get the match browser to work?  I subscribed to it from the workshop, then opened the game and nothing.  I must be doing something wrong.

It works as a stand alone..  Go to your steam folder and look in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\workshop\content\282440\543312745\ServerBrowser.exe.

Hey hey success!  Thank you very much!  Apparently subscribing to it from the workshop didn't download it but your github link worked perfect.  

Only one problem.  I ran it, it came up fine then about 1 minute later I got an error message saying the program has stopped working.  I closed it, ran it again and about 1 minute later, same message.  It keeps crashing on me for some reason.

I also downloaded v2.11 which was apparently released 13 hours ago so maybe you two are running an older version and this one is unstable?

Hopefully it gets fixed and its not on my end because even though I can barely use it before it crashes I already like it a lot better than the one that comes with the game.

I'm 2.11.. It crashes, the old ones did too.. Sometimes it stays up for awhile.. I'm sure he will be working on it.  Try running it and steam as admin..

Edit..are you on 32 bit windows?  If so the path to the d/l is different then what I posted..

C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\282440\543312745\ServerBrowser.exe.

He is fixing all the glitches as they come up. I have mine set up for auto update. It gives you the option, but don't know where, don't care, as long as something works, I don't  with it.

I've been giving him feedback all morning long on the Steam page and he's been updating it all morning long lol.  I think he finally got it all fixed, seems to be stable now.

I think I found it and uploaded yet another version (2.12.1)
The problem occurs when you don't have the Steam Client running or run it as a different user as the Browser (e.g. one of them runs as Administrator and the other not).
The option "Auto-Update: off while in-game" only works when your steam status can be identified and for that both programs must run as the same user.
The new version now just ignores this option when it cannot identify your steam status.

I just opened the browser, didn't do anything else. Didn't start the game or anything. Literally just opened it and stared at it until it crashed. I tried increasing the auto-update to 5 minutes and still have the same problem. After about a minute or two it crashes. I wish I was more help, I really don't know what info to give you.

I've had it open for a couple hours now while doing other stuff and it hasn't crashed yet.  I'm going to say its fixed.
