Is anybody good to get some TDM practice in on Thurs//Fri/Sat nights? I wasn't able to make the last one, and I'd like to get some roles set up for each player on each map (e.g. who we want running the powerups, which positions to take, who should be maining each weapon).

Awesome. I was thinking about going over some classic TDM maps- Campgrounds, Purgatory, Realm of the Steel Rats, and Hidden Fortress. If we can have a solid coverage of even two of them, I'll be happy  |

That sounds like a good idea I am usually available on Tuesday and Thrsday night after 9, and the weekend I will try to make to the practice. I love Freeze and TDM, so might as well try to get as much practice in as possible before this Sunday vs UTF. |

I love Freeze and TDM, so might as well try to get as much practice in as possible before this Sunday vs UTF. I'm afraid you stumbled upon an old thread when we were preparing for a TDM scrim. This isn't currently something we are doing anymore, sorry. I do like the idea of having some sort of weekly get together though. Obviously nothing mandatory, maybe just one night a week for the people that have time so we can all hop on a server together and have some fun? We don't even have to stick to FT all the time, we can invade the UFT server for that. I talked to Spike last night and he said their clan has been practicing together under various names for about 10 years now every Tuesday and Thursday since Quake 1. It shows in how well they work together and I think it's been really good in building friendships amongst their clan. If we could start something similar I think it could be a lot of fun. |

Bl1nd told me the same thing, he plays Quake for minimum 13 years now.
He told me that we play a good team game vs UFT members that are more "loose" in their playing.
