I have a G400 and I adore this mouse, feels comfy and everything just seems to feel great.

BUT the G400 has a pretty annoying fault and that is that the cable is as weak as my left foot's little toe.  So I have been having the annoying disconnect-reconnect problem, now for general internets stuff it is no bother, but when playing quake it makes it impossible and I start to get frustrated.

I thought I had had the mouse for longer than the 3 year warranty so ordered a new mx518 cable off ebay to repair it.

Checked my bank statment history and have only had it just over a year so feck knows why I thought I had had it longer.  Old age kicking in I suspect.

Anyways rang them up on Thursday afternoon gave them details of the mouse m/n s/n p/n copy of receipt which I managed to find stuffed in some box.

Got email on Friday saying RMA has been accepted and they will be sending out a new mouse within 24/48 hours.

Email yesterday saying mouse has been dispatched.

OMG that was proper easy, plus keeping old mouse so will be repairing that with the cable I ordered so have a spare.

Compared to turtle beach when trying to rma headset which took them 3 months to get a new headset sent out it was a walk in the park.

Anyone else have some good/bad RMA instances?

WTF do you do to the cable?  Had my G400 for a couple years and it is tip top.

I uses a Func 1030 cable grip whcih I screwed tomy desk to stop it snagging on stuff.
