Specifically, the DOOM 4 reveal that we'll get at QuakeCon this year.

What  a pity I can't pop down to Dallas this year... Is anyone going? 

Also, any tips for getting into the DOOM series (I might not be good at anything approaching horror)?

 Doom was a real good game. Still is. The best way to get into it is to down load Doom 1 and 2 and play them. One problem? Doom 3, like 4, are not the same as far as Graphics. For me, an old Doom fan, 3 ruiend it for me. Did not like the New Graphics. To each his own..
