Most weekends are alright for me anytime in the evening. Few exceptions when schedules make unexpected changes, but that's typical.

I should be wide open on Sundays. This Saturday is weather dependent. If it's raining, I'll be home. If it's not, I'll be gone from 11:00 am central time until who knows at night. I've made it home as early as 8:00 pm and as late as 3:00 am. If I'm the oddball out and everyone else is good for Saturday, I know how hard it is to line up everyone's schedule so I won't be offended if you guys do this without me. Sorry.

My god. In Duel, we've had more than half of our lineup who were supposed to play thus far be disqualified for not showing up and not re-scheduling... >.<

The only thing I can tell you is continue on with what you have left. Even if you have winners by default. This way it will send a message that you were serious about this. If you do it again, with better Prep, and a clear plan with this follow through message, I think you will do much better next time.

That's the plan, Lowlife.
It's growing increasingly apparent we were missing some key elements in our initial approach, but we can learn from these things. All we have to do is figure out who's the most determined to carry this through from the competitors and get to the end. Some months later, or maybe a year later, we'll have a better tournament going, and more people will be able to join in.

That's the Quake Community at its finest. Lots of flakes. It's like craigslist. All talk and no action. LOL!!! Run the tourney as is man!!! Should do it monthly like the 125fps and faceit cups.  |

Not sure about monthly, due to me and my partner's schedules but we want to do this at least twice a year. Maybe we'll do other games as well so more people can join in on the fun.

First we need to get most of the Duels done. Then we'll have some breathing room and can focus on CA. I believe we should be coming up on the last couple rounds for the Duel qualifiers, then it's just a matter of a few days to finish the whole Duel thing. CA will be done on a weekend (might not be the next, as I am working the whole weekend) for sure, that much we know. Until then, I recommend a lot of practice >  |

Late night keyboard mashing and microphone use doesn't go over well in my crowded house, and I'd like to think I'm not alone in the situation. Any word on about what time the CA set will take place? Similar to the way the duels are run?

About duels... So my partner didn't seem to have gotten my memo about many peoples' schedules... so he ended up disqualifying the vast majority of players. Go figure. So... We're going to have a "consolation" prize bracket very soon, as soon as we get in touch with the people who didn't/COULDN'T make it for whatever reason. I'm sorry to say that Gangland is also included in this (unjustly, I apologize profusely and vastly). If need be, to allow people to play as much as possible, I will take part as well (as death_star_gone), but I won't be able to "win" anything (other than matches; no prizes for me). As for CA, since only two teams can technically participate, we're going to set up a day when we can just do a best of five, or something like that. Essentially, we'll just play a very diverse map-pool based on the ones I have drawn up on the official document. You can rotate in players in between maps. This will be 3v3, so if you guys bring any extra players, it is to your benefit  |
