DNA logo? (Read 387 times)

drunk has a logo.. qrunk has a logo..I'd like to replace the QL Turkey with something more us.. And maybe a different background  for the DNA board?

Any ideas or suggestions?

I'm big on the colors red, white, and blue. Maybe like a Q3 logo with r/w/b bars in the shape of beer bottles?? )

How about the standard QL logo, with the middle "spike"/"nail" thingie being a bottle of something strongly alcoholic, and with "DNA" printed on it? I could draw up a quick pencil sketch over the weekend if you want to see what I mean (I suck with digital art...)

The logo will have to have some colors..As we have other themes here..I'm not adverse to red/white/blue as it works cross theme..

There's a thread here with some of our old logos..But it's friday afternoon and I'm too drunk to find it..heh

Plus I need to go to the store..get beer..and laundry soap..The washing machine awaits..Yet why should I do laundry..when I'm going to Mississippi tomorrow to go fishing?

Have at at..All our artwork was done by members..I'm a carpenter by trade.And I can't draw a straight line unless I use a carpenters "square"..  


Basically you've described the drunk logo with DNA added to it..


Ahh..I could make it slightly smaller so it fits the banner space..And add DNA text under it..I have the Quake Font which looks very good in red..  Or expand the height of the banner from 100 px to 150..I think that would work better..

Yeah... that's pretty much it. Perhaps with a fancier trim (a more "mechanical" work, reminiscent of gears and cogs)? But then again, simplicity is best...

Actually that's a great idea..It would still tie into drunk clan but set it apart..Maybe a picture frame thing around it..Or a rectangle background with the gears and such so it fits into the banner space?

I'll work on it Sunday..I wanna do laundry..Drink beer, play QL..And catch some fresh fish to eat tomorrow.(And eat a Goat BBQ sandwich from this tiny joint in Mississippi)

Bl1ndlight..ahh the other logos..I have them..but they are on 3 servers..We do have a drunkclan imgur..and I need to move stuff off my imgur over to it.. also when we started out years ago I think some images are on a Photobucket server.

Let me collate them..I'll move everything over to the drunk imgur

But not until Sunday..I'm going fishing tomorrow..

Bl1ndlight..I found some of our old logos..   but I think for DNA it's better to start from scratch..I'm a thinking and drinking on it now..lol

I am going to take this here. I was thinking since the Pirate thing came up early on, maybe for a logo,, Skull and Cross Bones. But instead of cross Swords, have Cross Rum Bottles? Some thing on the Pirate Theme? 
 
And no on Intel. It will remind me of the last time I got a serious beat down. That time you followed me! I guess I cant pick them either.
