Fun east-coast CA action last night with Drunk Rabbit, who recruited a new member in-game!! I think that's 3 new members this week!

If we can add a few more soon..We should be able to get some practice going..My CA is so weak..T2 and I've T3'ed.

Some good practices would be great where I can learn strat..  I really need to practice rail. My biggest fault which is a n00b one is I use rocket too much..

I charge in too much and then find myself against 3 of the other team and get raped. I'm going to start demo'ing my matches so I can review my faults..

My CTF stays at 4 and FFA is 3-4

Once we get a practice going I'll see if I can get a qrunk member to spec and offer advice...

Since I have been practicing with Gangland, my game play has changed. My last rash of games have been my best Set ever. "Only Fools Rush In"  I think that was a song?

Ya  that's me (rabbit) fools rush in..sighs..  Also gangland switches over to LG for close up..So i need to back off and dodge..

Looks like rain all weekend so I'll be off..I'll stick to CA and get my T3 back..

Sounds like a plan! Lowlife and I have been starting/playing our own servers for practice and it's really worked out for us. If we can get everyone in a server at least one night a week that would be killer. We can do scrim/plays.

Ya..It takes awhile to build up a clan. Drunk took awhile..and then it took a little bit longer for members to start getting together.

Then drunk spawned qrunk in EU which is very very active..

Actually with QL being sorta static at the moment we are doing just fine. With you guys doing servers..that's a huge plus as it gives members a place to play against  each other without the pressure of a pub server...

Ya!  Ganglands LG has Greatly improved.  As far as practice, we should try to do it where we can meet in the middle where we can share like Pings.

I'll be dropping in the new QX6700 (Extreme edition {unlocked multiplier}) quad core tonight. )

We'll see if that helps the aim.

Now that I know he switches to an LG..  And he will be using a QX6700 (Extreme edition {unlocked multiplier}) quad core ,I've got a surprise for him on my Dell  D630.

Ugh. I've only got one month to study for my exams, and that's five full courses (a few hundred hours of instruction to review for each course)... I may not be online too much this month.

 Its like I said a couple of posts ago. We will be here Primed and Ready. As far as Ganglands Nerd comment, he does not look like a "Lewis Skolnick". So I am not worried one bit!

Ooh, some things


1) I love rocket combos vs shaft. It's real fun bouncing them around while countering LG... 4-5 good bounces, and they're down, or running away.

2) Conversely, shaft against rockets- If your mouse aim is at least decent, it can be a huge payoff to shoot above 30% acc on LG when they're trying to bounce you around.

3) When rushing in against more than one opponent, and you're alone, spam some rockets, plasma, or nades at least five seconds ahead of time. I find having cleared at least a small space to work with can be extremely useful, and you might end up doing a lot of damage/get a frag.

I played a few games on Sunday morning with the Alienware. New processor in computer hauls @$$ now. Had it overclocked 30% and never got above 65C. ) Did pretty well in a texas server in the morning. Was speccing a game with _icond_  and they vote-kicked him for not F3'ing. / Was pretty bummed about that. Then logged back on later on my laptop and back to poop-shooting.
