Any advice on getting used to high-level dodging and tracking with it? I feel like my main issue is I'm relying on short-strafe dodging (75% of my dodging seems to be short-strafes)... Is that a big issue in dodging against most players with skillrating of about 100, or higher?

You are definitly  asking the wrong person. "ganglandonup" just threw me to the wolves tonight. T4.  Thanks a lot. Being my first CA game I still manged 25%. For what its worth, I found using the default LG beam gave me a better sense. Instead of following a Point. And try to stay alive.

T3 players dont dodge,t4 players do.
Plus dont forget some players only use lg (lgwhores)
I never strafe when dodging lg,just go the opposite way and keep in mind that for right handed players its harder to shoot to right so use that

Hey there,

Last night was rather brutal. We joined a T4 server with no players to practice in, and pretty soon it was full of people. / At some point the bell had already rung and we were stuck in a game. We should have signed off at the start of the 2nd game, but both stayed in and got raped.

Lots of "questionable" play going on in the latter half of the 1st game, and the 2nd game was just retarded.

As far as following me, I originally offered to follow you!!!! :OP

You should have stuck around a little longer for the third one. That guy "Mikehelper". What a jerk. He was flaming on "DNA". I just explained that we don't care .We are just about having fun. All he was saying was "DNA Sucks and "Noobs" and other crazy stuff in big bold lettering. I should have flamed on him, but I feel sorry for Players who take this Game with that attitude.
 I will pick a Green Room this time. For me Green is T3. We will fair better.

Don't let it get to you..He must be a very low T4 player.. the good ones don't flame..They just kill you and move on..heh

When we build up DNA..We'll have enough players to hang out with and play with..I'll also try to set up some scrims with some players from OSO..They have a lot of T2,T3 CA players that play for fun and are nice people..

Also remember..that when we start playing together and getting more organized game way..You should see your tier level get better as you get better. A lot of members of qrunk were T3-lower T4 and most are gold bars now.. 

Also when we get some practices going....I'll ask terrorj or some of the qrunk members to spec to give advice..

Well it was pretty funny how the team kept asking us to help out, so I would help out and lock down an entryway, or provide cover, and then they all ran away and get picked off one by one. They wouldn't stay together and kept moving without actually capturing or locking down an area. And of course the other team WAS moving as a group. So meh,, I take it all with a grain of salt.

I saw someone say that in chat but ducked out for dinner. Didn't know he kept flaming. /

Finally a good practice tonight. gangland is better at "Cat and Mouse". I am better in the "Trenches". Im looking forward to playing against Players of like skill levels.  By the way, you had some Nice Shots to.

Sure guys,im always ready to give some advice just give me a shout when im online or in irc.
Dont pay to much attention to those jerks,drunk is sow big there wil always be les skilled players but also very high skilled players.
Next time just tel them to challenge me,even with 100 ping il made them rage
Just play together,use the ,challenge other clans,go with the team trough maps and show eachother the good spots,have fun and improvement wil come.

I have a weird relationship with LG heh, sometimes I can get very high acc. but it seems like im being too picky and boosting acc. while total damage might be lower... so then I go back to my spammy LG w lower stats but seemingly catching ppl and pinning them more often. probably have to rely on teh rox for west coast serv 

part of me likes to be the worst in a group so i can test myself but playing with mixed levels together, improving and coming out pretty competitive should be a nice experience--

I know what you mean. I dwell to much on the Accuracy side. Even though my Accuracy was better than "ganglands" we shared similar Damage Deliverd Stats. Is "More Shots Better" than "Better Placed Ones"? In my World, the "Better Placed Shot" gives me the satisfaction that "I Earned it". Instead of spamming a Area and hoping for the best. The first one for me comes with a Higher Price. "Deaths". I would not worry about it unless you are worried about your stats. It would seem that I am. Maybe? Are you? Maybe? Its only Ones call.

yeah I do think CA is way too generous with the ammo I'd like to run a server with very limited stuff to really force ppl to play different

 With a Pro Sub, you can do that,, but the only downfall is, those games become Unranked. Same as Intagib. They will not count for ones overall Stats or Ratings. I myself think its fair. As you don't have the luxery of gathering Health or Weapons or Extra Ammo. But most likely when its said and done, when they leave your server they will go back to their old ways. Defeats the purpose. The only way is for "Id" to change the CA weapon structure and make it permanent. We have enough crying now with CA. This would just make my head explode.
