QuakeCon 2013 starts today.

The duels:

GRP A: evil, rapha, dahang, zero4
GRP B: dkt, vo0, chance, stermy
GRP C: whaz, cl0ck, carnage, chaoticz
GRP D: id_, h41, kgb, Fiend
GRP E: demex, samer, nightmare, klaovhwn
GRP F: jok0, dorkiz, nemesis, VDMQuad
GRP G: Rhyotion, pthy, t41tg, baaked
GRP H: Zeruspocus, xtsy, cazro, BouvToTheMax

The above is to find out the seedings for the double elimination I assume.

But I think it is safe to say Group A is a proper great group and hopefully will produce some brilliant action.

Looking forward to seeing evil vs zero4 I think that should be a great match up.

Group B also looks quite good and very very even.

The CA 3v3:

I think we have one Euro team playing in the CA which is colwn.  They have h41, stermy and one other who I can't remember.

Pfff if it wasnt in Texas and the ticket wouldnt cost me 1600euro I would go and kick their asses
But im not going to pay a few thousand just to go look there.
No EU player wil do that...
Time they make an EU quakecon

The euro side will just wait for dreamhack winter I suspect.

Cypher has already said he will pay out of his own pocket to go to DHW this year.

Sponsors are leaving so it is even harder to get euro players over there.

Evil is only going because Winz gave him $1000 and if evil wins quakecon he will give him the $1000 back.

Well I am thinking of going to DHW, it just depends on when I get back from my course.  Should know the dates next month of when I will be about.

i have no plans of going to dreamhack, i live quite far from there... but we'll see come by stockholm and i'll buy you a beer tho ;D
