Weird facts about you, that not many people know. (Read 259 times)

I'm pretty drunk at the moment, but I just had a little chuckle to myself about a couple of things that have happened to me that hardly anyone knows about apart from close friends and the missus.

1) I auditioned for a role in a film called 'The Hurricane' Bit of a strange one I know, but I was an amateur boxer from 10 through to 21.  Anyways I got a call from one of my trainers for a "training session" in London.  Then when we arrived we were told that it was an audition for a small role in some movie they were making.  But they were looking for people who could box and could say a couple of lines.  I done a quick demonstration with some shadow boxing, and had my picture taken.  I didn't get the role, which isn't surprising as 30 odd other candidates were there.

2) In 2002 I was at some weekend party binge drinking session with my mates.  I was approached by some bloke and a woman who informed me they were looking to put together a boy band and I had the "look" they were looking for and asked if I could I sing.  I said yea of course if you like the sound of a drowning cat.  She looked at the bloke and said we should arrange a couple of vocal sessions.  She then asked where I was staying, so told her.  She gave me a business card and said a car would come to collect me at 10am the next morning.  The car arrived but I was errrrrrrrrrm otherwise engaged in another hotel room.  Mates were calling me and texting me but by the time I noticed it was like 3 or 4pm.  I was going to ring them but kinda lost the business card.

The missus is cackling to herself at the moment because my nickname for a while from my mates who went with me was Chesney Hawkes.  Mainly due to me at the time have a center parting with blonde flowing locks.

Anyone else have some weird facts about themselves?

I have to confess....
My family has attempted to eat me when I was young.
Also: I have a massive finger-shaped chandelier in my living room.
Also: I always play drunk (2,3-2,6 promiles) but sometimes I get drunk enough to receive communications from the Otherworld and then I play like maniac
