Hello people. My Nokia headphones broke two days ago and it's a positive record. Yeah, POSITIVE, because my previous two died in six months while this one had been working for a year.. Now, as I don't wanna waste 50 euros anymore, I've decided to step up and buy some good headphones/headset. Playing QL you guys should have quite an experience in this field so I kindly ask you an advice Here are my constraints: - My budget is 40-50 euros, but if you guarantee a product is that good I can raise up to 70. Of course if you know something cheaper it's ok - I'd use them in game, but also while jogging and at the gym, so I'd like something quite light that doesn't tire even after 2-3 hours. - For the above-mentioned reason, if it's a headset the microphone must be detachable because I don't wanna look more loser than I currently am - I love bass! Boom Boom Pow - I don't like razer stuff, they do their job, but I find the building quality absolutely crap for their price range. Hope I haven't bored you too much. Thanks

I'm not sure you can find something satisfying at both gaming and jogging. Well, I hope you find it! [For everything outdoor I use "in ear" headphones because they provide a good isolation, are light and quite discrete ; indoor I prefer an open headset, and something more comfortable.]
Anyway, most of the time (ie when I don't need a mic) I play with a Sennheiser HD238 (not a gaming headset, and not bought for gaming in fact ^^), I like it and it's on your budget but I don't think it matches what you're looking for: - I'm sure you'll think it lacks of bass - very open, you hear everything around you, no way you could use it outdoor or in a crowd gym room
I hope others will be of greater help :/

Your best bet might be buying a decent pair of headphones to suit gaming and gym work and spending the change on a pc microphone.
That way you don't have the hassle of having to pay extra for a detachable microphone.
Plus I am sure if you look around you could find a microphone that does a good job for about £10 or less.
It doesn't have to be an all singing or dancing microphone as long as people can hear you on mumble that's all that matters.

I love my Sennheiser PC151 but the microphone is not detachable. If you want a good quality gaming headset, I can recommend it. For jogging I can recommend you to get some decent earphones, headphones look kinda nerdy or hipster If you decide to spend some more money you can get a steelseries siberia v2 headset, microphone is detachable, you can choose from a variety of colors and it doesnt look too bad, it's just a bit big in my opinion. It's like 80€ though... I know some people who use it, they really like it, the microphone is also really good

At the end I think I'll get some good headphones with good bass, not caring of gaming. In the meantime I thank you all for your opinions

In the end I took the AKG 518LE for 60 euro. Chose them because I read they have "powerful bass". Well, I think it's good but not as fat as I expected. Not sure if they're worth all that money, but overall they're good headphones. You can easily find them at 40€ on amazon, probably it's a fair deal for that price.

I need to get just a simple headset/mike. Using mumble with speakers and built in laptop mike does not cut it.
