Did anyone noticed this? I went into practice today, got into devmap and wrote give all in console. Beside all weapons it was there, kinda like it

by hook did you mean, it's like a lightning gun when you shot it, and you basically, get magnetised to the spot you aiming at.. making you swing around at will like some spider man?

Ohh man, i <3 le grappling hook... especially in CTF ( capping on CTF4 is a bit easier w/out having to trick now)

To try out grapling hook: 1. Start "Practice" match. 2. Open console and type "devmap asylum" or any other map. 3. After reloading open console and type "give all".

cool, i´ve always missed the hook in quake 3. it was standard in q1 & q2 ctf.
i think they removed it, because it was used too heavily as a mean of insanley quick moving and crazy manouvers.
maybe you like to watch this q2 ctf match which may give you an impression of what grappling monkeys were able to do with it.
