Yes, that's right. I have a prize to give out.

The contest will be held during this month and I will pick a date that suits most of us. I'm away for 2 weeks this month so can't be weeks 23 / 25 or the weekends around them.

Why?

Why not? And if you want to have a reason, then it could be about me coming back to world of QL better than ever or something.

Who can join?

I'll be accepting people from 3 clans. If you aren't in these clans, don't worry, I won't be too strict on this. If you have a standard account and can't be in any of those but would like to be, then drop a message here and you can participate.

DRUNK
SOG

What about me (me as in kry.. )?

I will participate but if I win the guy with silver will get the prize. Don't want to be left out to be the only one without fun

What is the prize?

A gift card to get some great games! If you guess what the prize is don't

What if I have those games?

If you win and happen to have the games I'm offering (not getting more ) then you can decide what to do with the gift card. It would be nice to give the games to the one in second place but that's up to you.

Even if you think you have the games, please join. The more the better.

When?

This will be held on 30.06. if most are ok with this. The time: 7:30pm UK time. Let me know if this time is good for you since if there would be a better date/time, it could be changed.

What?

As only one prize is being dealt, it will involve dueling.

Since I'm a bit busy the next few days and next week, please let others know. It would be great if someone told Uchi or dropped a message to their IRC channel asking them to drop a message to their forums. I will not be watching their forums so if anyone wants to sign up, they would have to come here (or to DRUNK forum) to do it.

Other things

If this gets more popular than I thought, then I might make it a bit longer but the games will be short.

When is the last date to sign up?

There is no last date but there is the limit of 16 people in a ffa game. it's starting to be full so be quick!

What if I didn't get into the list?

I'm sure that not everyone will be able to show up so just sign up. I will make a secondary list also from where I will take people in order of signing in to replace the people who didn't show up.

IMPORTANT Signing in on the competition day

You must let me know on the day of the competition that you're ready. This can be done either in an IRC channel #CHILLCwaP @quakenet, webchat.quakenet.org/?channels=CHILLCwaP or by letting me know in QL. You have to add me (kry @ QL) as your friend in QL.

The date is not certain but I've been thinking something like 30.6. The date might get changed if people can't make it. Time will probably be evening. Let me know when (date/time) is good for you and I could schedule a time that suits most.

So it will probably not be duels but FFA (probably 3 games). And it will be hard with a lot of weirdness

Also added a list of all people who have signed in. Let me know here if you want to get in or want your name out.

If you don't get to the list, there will be another list and if people who have signed up can't come, I'll start picking people in order from this list.

Also added information of what to do. Everybody: add me (kry @ QL) so organizing this will get a bit easier. Come to IRC, #CHILLCwaP @quakenet, webchat.quakenet.org/?channels=CHILLCwaP before the competition. If you are not there at 7:30pm or haven't let me know in QL just before the competition that you're available, your spot will go to someone else.

pfffffft I do bloke things on a sunday.

I go to the pub, have a sunday roast and watch the F1 while slowly drinking myself into a semi coma. Then if I'm still semi concious then I watch football or some crappy animal documentary on discovery or something like that.

There will be 3 maps. I haven't decided them yet, but how it will work is somewhat decided.

It will be a point based system - probably like this:
The winner will be given 18 points, second will be given 16 points, third one will be given 14 points. And after that its 13, 12, 11 and so on just like in some sports. Don't want anyone to be left without points so everyone gets points \o/

The player with the most points after 3 maps will get the prize. The winner has a possibility to keep it or choose to give it forward to another player if he/she thinks he/she has no need for it.
