Weird gold bar on stats??? (Read 592 times)

I have tried to look on the ql forums but for some reason I can't access them at the moment.

But what is the gold bar on my stats?

No laughing at my duel stats, I have played a few hard matches against doc and toma

The gold bar indicates that you are super awesome at that game mode It indicates that you're > T4. Your skillrating is > 100.

Skill Rating used to be capped at 100, but they removed that cap in the last update. Gratz on your CTF skillz

I´d like to reactivate this post, beacuse I also have a question regarding these skill level bars.

When I started 4 weeks ago with QL, I was ranked as a Tier 3 CTF Player. Last night, when I had a look at my stats i recognised that I am now a Tier 4 player.

To be honest: I don´t think that my lousy skills have improved within the last 4 weeks. Are there any informations about how QL is "calculating" your skill level?

Is it possible that I "ranked up" simply because I played more matches. Is it more a matter of "activity" rather than a real improvement of your skill?

P.S. I have met players, which skill level is to my opinion, not represented because they hit everything that moves. They must be something like Tier 9 or so.

As you at the end of a match end by the first 30% your sv skill goes up.from about svskil 70 you are a t4 player.clear enouch?

well, basically this means that it does not say anything about your real skill.

Yea thats right.I think the tiers are only right til t4.For example im having svskil over 200,but you dont see that by the golden bar.If someone else has gold with 100 svskil i will. probably own him.

it's funny.. I'm pretty sure if they had these, charts back in quake 3 arena 8-9 years ago.. the people from quake would talk more about their stats than actually play this game xD

I guess it would be nice to brush up on my account appearence and boost up some Tiers in different modes.. but same as with my hair, I just don't care how messy it looks in the morning, I still won't brush it xD.. it's really not about yesturday, but today.. those charts really more about your activity.. frankly if I were to make a clan, i'd have a match with a player before recruiting him, considering I was looking for skilled ones that is.. damn it fudge you spamming again <_<
