My Pro subscription recently expired. But it seems QL doesn't want my money. I have tried with my visa debit card and also with my visa credit card but to no avail. I didn't think I would miss it to be honest, but I hate not having it. I thought the missus had a mastercard but apparantly she cancelled that months ago and she just uses the joint visa cards. Any Ideas on what to try? Because I want to get that sorted preferably before this weekend finishes and the missus spends all my (our) money while at her parents

Thought they used to use paypal but not anymore . There servers maybe playing up so try a bit later.

You can use a moneybookers prepaid card,cost 10,- for a year. I used it recently,it only could take about 14 days until you get the card send at home. www.moneybookers

This of interest to me as I expire soon.. I used a friends proper credit card for my first account .(payed him cash)
I do now have a Visa debit card that pretty much works for everything on online ordering.. But will find out when renewal time comes..
To be honest.. I think QL wants wants a full credit card.. because unless you check "cancel account" after registering (this does not kill your new account).. .. They will simply bill you again next year.. Rather sleazy on their part.....
Wook..did they even email you when it was time to renew? Probably not.. They were hoping you forgot and would have swooped down on the credit you used to join..
Thats why after joining I checked "cancel account"
also on the back of your card..

Yea I got an email from them saying they were going to debit my credit card 3 days before it expired. But I don't have that credit card no more I switched my credit card to get a 0% APR on my previous balance. So I cancelled the crafty auto debit. I tried again today, and double checked the card number, expiry dates and the security code. But still comes up with the same crap. I spoke to one of my mates who also has a pro account and he used a visa credit card as it wouldn't accept his visa debit card. It's a bit daft to be honest. Are they trying to make a complete dogs ass of QL by only allowing credit cards? I emailed them this morning, but no response as yet. My mates going to lend me his mastercard on wednesday so fingers crossed that will sort it out. Why don't they pull there finger out and allow all visa cards (debit and credit) also offer a paypal option because I think they would get a heck of a lot more members who have paypal accounts who would go pro. I'm ranting at something that will fall on deaf ears no doubt. Nevermind I'll get it sorted soon

haha,bit long he loooooll I stil dont understand why they don't have paypal,its the most used pay methode here... Specialy had to buy me a credit card for quake,i will never use it anywhere else...the fuckers XD

Pro account now sorted out.
But get this with using my own visa card. I went online a few mins ago and was like hmmmm I'll try again. And it worked.
So maybe they were having problems with the processing part of the transaction.
I would have liked a response from ID though when I emailed them.
But heh ho all sorted now.

But no response. I always get a response normally.
But for some reason I didn't this time.
I would have been happy with a "We will look into your query"
