Pro/Prem members need more features (Read 306 times)

I'm considering not renewing my QL subscription in March because apart from starting your own matches there is virtually nothing else.

I mean all the premium servers are empty because the lack of premium/pro players.

When you go on a premium server then they end up voting the basic maps anyways so the variety of trying new maps is non existent.

I wouldn't mind paying it if new features were added that actually got players into the premium servers.

For instance to get a bunch of players on a premium server you need to have more than one pro player because you can only invite 3 people. I can see why they done it, but it just isn't working.

I like the ability to spawn servers to get some duels going and the weekly scrim but apart from that what else is there.

You have FT and instaFT which I would like to play more but with limited time in the evenings that's just a no go. Well I could but would get the silent treatment.

I want more content. I would like it when I spawn a premium server I don't have to go through the invite player process. If there on my friends list why can't they can just join.

Also when you spawn a server why can't you change game type while already there. I can handle a reload but having to then either send someone to spawn a server or cancel the server then do a different one can become tedious.

My stance is open all maps to ALL Players..

More server control for paying customers.

As you said.. change game types without a restart.

Start a server level at your skill rating.. and that means that.. But also the ability to control who enters.. Any tier, or only certain tiers.etc.

Ability to change runes and weapons

You can sorta do that.. When I start a server.. there is a checklist at the bottom to invite friends.. I just check all. Then it's first come first serve if they see the invite..

So..any more ideas for Id on server side things? I'll come up with some more soon..

i dodnt understan why you have to pay per year? or at all? my guess is that most of the money they make on the game is by ads anyway.

pay once and get the full featured game would be nice imo.

Imo, premium needs more content...
you pay 20 $ for:
FT
premium servers
up to 5 clans
create own clans
match history

thats just rubbish since premium servers are empty, nobody plays FT really except chills...

I really like the pro server spawn option, cause you dont have to bother with pubs and other players and you can have a match without waiting and stuff.
But besides that...nothing...you pay 30 $ more only for spawning servers...and some little nice thingys which are not really needed at all...(1 year match history...why does iD want money for bullshit like that?!)
and you can join 10 clans...wow...thats not worth the money...
customer support is nice...
also, the pre-match ads are removed, but I dont need it, I have my script/adblock...

so, the only real content of pro is the server spawn option...
premium is complete bullshit if you have enough friends to invite you...

And I go along with martins opinion, pay once, be pro forever...but it doesnt work at all(hard to describe what I mean)

ye why did they add both pro and prem? whould be better with just pro and standard. price tag in between both or something. you dont get enough for prem and you dont get that much more for pro. its just silly.

I think they relesed too many maps in beta so the free content has so much fun in it so you dont rly need prem/pro to play the game and have fun which leads to no one pays for the game cos you can play it anyway and even get invited to the prem maps and play there anyway.

if i were an id staff i would make it a pain for the free users, so it really feels like youre playing the demo of the game, and sell pro/prem subs with a smaller price tag.

i think its not htat bloody expensive anyway so i gladly pay for it and i like it, but seriously you get kind of the same content in standard. only thing i miss in standard is the large amount of great duel maps (tox, hektik, dismemberment, aero, battlerforged etc.) and some great tdm maps as well. and its really nice to start your own matches really missed that in the beta!

I played some premium maps more than stadard maps...
But yeah, premium is useless, pro and standard would be better.
