I'll laugh.. Id has continued to ignore the pleas of us Tier 3 CTF players.. Meaning Tier 3 is over run with Tier 4's.

I joined this server because I saw a few people I like to play with.

The first thing I saw was the server skill level was 87.. Tier 3 stops at 70

Then there were frantic shuffle votes.. which were voted down..
Lol ..stack on the way.. And so it was..


At least I was tied with someone for most deaths..

Yeah tier 3 is over run by tier 4s because tier 4 is over run by tier 5s since they got rid of tier 5. So everyone makes alts.

They need something more gradual. A low tier 4 player could play with high tier 3s, but not low tier 3s. A high tier 4 player could play with low tier 5s, but not high tier 5s. There's too much of a difference between a low tier 4 and a high tier 4. Especially since there is no tier 5 anymore.

Tier doesn't mean anything to me. People just want to play with people close to their skill level. A little better or a little worse. Not a lot better and a lot worse.

The only way to make tier jumping work is to have about 10 tiers to make it more gradual, and there's not enough players for that.

The whole tier system is basically a sham at this point. Just not enough players to make it work and now I honestly believe they're gaming the system, putting people in tier 4 that don't belong there, even after removing tier 5 completely, just to make it look like there are more players. Another reason why people are alting.

Basically at this point, it's DOA. Everyone just plays together, or doesn't play at all. They've already slummed a lot of players out of the game completely.

Oh yeah, I'm gonna channel CooloutAC here. An auto balance would help too if people aren't shuffling.

Tier 3 instaCTF is also over run with tier 4's looking to have an easy match.

But that's unranked anyways so it doesn't really matter.

InstaCTF has annoyed the heck out of me because it improves your tier rating so I'm up to tier 4 for CTF when in reality I'm only tier 4 on instaCTF with a rail gun.

I played a normal CTF match a few weeks back and got properly spanked.

I think I need to knock insta on the head for a bit and concentrate on the normal versions of the games. Because the instaCA dev picks was the worst mistake I ever made. Because I am borderline tier 3 on CA and regularly drop to tier 2 because im crap. But got up to tier 4 playing the instaCA matches and got a massive reality check
