it's just that you have to play more duels, and eventually statistics will be updated

yeah I read that you have to play at least one duel.
the website is a bit outdated because it exist since a few weeks
so you have to play a match in this time I guess

You can join #qlranks on quakenet
!update qlname - this will scan your recently played games and update your elo, also if you are not in the database this will add you to it.
example
22:09 < kanzo> !update kanzo
22:09 <@[qlranks]> kanzo found in database. Scanning recent games
22:10 <@[qlranks]> kanzo has been updated. 6 matches scanned. Elo: 1315-->1355 Rank: 898-->569
Otherwise games should be added after 24 hours or so.

Can someone explain Elo to me? I'm using the QL Prism app to play and it shows my Elo.. I think this is my overall Elo as I am not listed for duels..
Currently my Elo is 1200

This is a bit of a long read :/ en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elo_rating_systemBut basically, you start with a rating of 1200. If you beat someone with a higher ranking you get points and they lose some. I'm not sure if it's a zero sum (symmetrical) calculation. Because QLRanks is so new it'll take a while to settle down. The more you play, the more accurate it'll be. |
