Hey folks, s0laris logging in. I started real FPS gaming with Quake 1, but couldnt play online as internetz wuz rare and really expensive at that time. Got into real multiplayer with Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory (i dare call it good school for Quake). Im from Hungary, am a game administrator at a company called Bigpoint, so i have a lot of time to play (when users dont FK with me on the support). Bought gaming mouse and mat not so long ago, ill also pay for Pro possibly next month. I wanna take it a bit more seriously, so expect me to show up in inhouse competitions.

Am a strong T3 in CA and CTF (tier system thinks im T4 in both, but i bounce back and forth between T3-4 in CA), can hold my own in T4 FFA. I like DOM too, if you want one more player, just invite me till i get my pro. Want to get into duels, i played Epikt so far, well, lets just say he molested me with his plasma and rocket launcher (Hope i molested him with my LG). Oh, LG, im an LG whore, those who seen me playing CA know that i can be really annoying with it.

For "weaker" CTF matches if you want someone to defend, or want someone who can strafe, im in. I prac strafejumping on a daily basis (even if thats all the time i play Quake that day), not a pro, but am improving fast, just need to learn the routs on the maps. I used to just load a map in devmap with me only on the map then prac whatever i want, like rocketjump/b2r on DM6 (i learned CJ doing b2r there, i often overjump the first jump with 510+ UPS), strafing on raztrainql_beta3 or a larger CTF map etc.

Maps i like (any game mode): bloodrun, DM6, siberia, inner sanctums, hidden fortress, asylum, trinity, coutryard

and fear my lg, can go up to 40 percent vs a bad dodger ^^

about the t3/t4 bouncing up and down:
I had that aswell, pretty much everyone has it and it is pretty depressing at the beginning, but you will get into it, especially with a decent lg it wont be too hard.
some t4's have ridiculously good rockets and dodging and you can't win these fights without good rockets and decent dodging, so definitely pratice that alot.
I got out of the bouncing zone by playing 2v2 with a mate and talking bullshit on TS :DD
He's a decent player and he taught me alot...his lg goes up to 50% vs bad dodgers :o

Yea, raztrain is a cool map, could catch up with strafing, i was strafejumping a lot in Wolf:ET, had some "memories" Now that i learned how to accelerate, its time to learn how to decelerate properly for sharper turns. I can do a 14.5 seconds cap on Siberia, i know its not the best (have a demo where a guy did it in 11.7), but its a start.

Ive seen your duel vids, you are far skilled than me. Im nothing when it comes to item control and anticipating my opponent, but im willing to learn. I think im not a bad dodger, but well test that. About the tier bouncing: I dont care, it happened to me in FFA too, but a couple weeks of hard trying earned me a permanent place in T4. Of course T4 CA is harder, but im not afraid of challanges. I used handicap 90 in T3 for some time, to stay with my friends, but even with that i often win, so its time to depart from T3. Luckily i got you guys now, to play with, in fact, i timed my application to the clan to around the time i started getting into T4 CA. Had a chitchat with Epikt and he told me you got some inhouse competitions and that sounded intriguing.

Toma how do i dodge lg?
Youre as good with lg as i am with rockets and rail,my lg is mostly around 25%
Is it maybe because you got a very low sens?Thought i noticed long time ago that you got a 'bad' turn....

terrorj, you can practice that with someone, maybe me, in 1v1 CA. Almost Lost is a good map for that. LG lock is not just about low sens. In the beginning, you have to try to mimic your opponents movement and adjust with mouse. Later, when you are skilled enough, you have to develop pure mouse aim, thats the hardest part, but thats what pros can do and looks so awesome (especially toxic and strenx).
