It's been a great 6 years!..  thewookster and swampy will be here now and again. We will leave the the Forum up.

It's been a good run for the drunk clan.  But all good things must eventually come to an end.

We've made some great friends during the duration and some of whom I still play games with and speak to on irc.

I will still pop by the forums every so often to see if anything has been posted, but with Quake Live technically at the end of its life span this was basically the only option.

<q-i> are still going in a iCTF and iFT tournament.  But the days of organising events and get together's has long passed.

I can still be found on IRC @ #clanchill which is still going strong actually.  As well at Freeze Tag Fridays most most weeks.

I'd just like to say thank you for some memorable times and moments which still make me laugh sometimes, also a thank you for being so awesome.  We had a fantastic bunch of people in the drunk family from all walks of life and from all over the globe.

Ok I better stop now before I keep on typing and this becomes an essay of sorts.

I wish everyone all the best and future happiness.

One last point to note. I know float_dublin created this clan. But Swampy took it over and gave the clan a chance to become something more than just a group of drunkards. He created the forums, he persisted with the recruitment drive as well as a lot of other things.  Without his intervention Drunk clan wouldn't be what it is today.  We would be a group without the fun and joy we have had over the years.  But he still kept the ethos of have fun, everyone welcome.

So swampy you receive my eternal gratitude for making my time and others' playing quake better.

It's been a while since I've logged in! I got the notification this morning about Drunk closing shop. It really sucks that QL has diminished.

I myself have retired from gaming. IRL has been greater than the game lately. Since my move to Washington I've had little time to spend, and when I did I was playing Reflex or CPM. I still have love for QL though and watch the Sunday cups regularly. I really hope that the game doesn't completely disintegrate.

As for Drunk Clan, DNA, Freeze and all the other people I say hello, and bye for now. I'll try and hop on IRC to say hello from time to time.

Sad to hear our mother clan is closing shop.  Thanks for providing us a place to get together and meet new friends.  Don't worry though Gangland, if you ever get the itch to quake again the North American branch isn't quite dead yet.  We're still around and kicking and will probably compete in future tournaments.  Hopefully DNA will transition into QC.

Drunk,the place were it all started.My first clan,will never forget.Had great times and much fun.My first funwars with the competitive wing qrunk.First cups with the qrunk insta wing(Which is still going strong) Later the DNA wing.Great memories,guess I will see most of you on steam.Take care all and you know were to find me.

Wouldn't have thought so, because not many people playing QC.  Most who started playing during beta and the release on steam have kinda stopped playing it now.

But never say never and all that.
