I got rid of the fibre optic 50mb broadband from virgin media about a month ago now because my connection was always being throttled back to about 20mb. And for the extortionate price it just wasn't worth it. Soooo went with sky broadband (ADSL) with "upto" 20mb Broadband. Everything started ok, was consistently getting speeds of around 16-17MB but I checked this morning and only am getting 10mb so I am going to get on the phone to them as soon as 8am gets here. I knew something wasn't right last night when downloading an album from itunes as it was taking an eternity. So that got me thinking. I fancy being nosey and checking out what broadband other drunks have. Here's when I was on shared wifi "n" On 20 meg cable at the communal household.. It was nice..  And here's my temporary EVDO pre paid plug in..   I'll post the DSL speed when I get it.. |

Thanks, but errrrr no thanks I spose I shouldn't moan too much because at least I still have a fairly decent download speed, just glad were still not back in the day of the 56k modem. And i'm amazed that there are still people in this country that still use it. Each to there own I guess. |
