Heat Stroke Sucks (Read 230 times)

Got back about 10 mins ago from very sunny spain.

I didnt think I would need the sun lotion as I am a man and I know best

Crikey I am really really sun burnt and am feeling like I have a bit of sun/heat stroke.

Any of you lot as stupid as me and get burnt to a crisp when you see some sun ;D

I'm going over to Mississippi a few times a week to work. It's 110F ( 43.3C) with the heat index.

Lots of water, Stay Hydrated.. and a big hat and hippie rolled kerchief on forehead to catch the sweat.. I leave pretty drained and knocked out..

I think the problem is us English folk are just not use to hot weather.

Our summer normally consists of a few weeks of warm weather then pissing it down, then cloudy then its autumn (Fall for you guys)

It's warm over here today so gotta slather on some lotion to keep the burnt bits protected as I am outside today doing some field work.

I can't believe I used the word sucks, I never use the word sucks I blame the American that was in on Friday he kept saying this sucks, that sucks or you suck . (sounded wrong but heh ho)

So it's been imprinted on my brain I guess.

I feel alright today though, dragged the air conditioner out of the garage and turned the bedroom into a fridge was awesome.

No point having air con really. I bought one because it was really really hot one year so I said sod that were getting one, and I got it unpacked it and set it up like an excited child at xmas and low and behold it started pissing it down and that was the end of summer ;D

The sun didn't hurt my eyes because I had some funky sunglasses on.

BUT..................

They have left a white sunglasses impression on my face though which everyone at work found most amusing.

Damn you sun, damn youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu

I didn't wear shades today I need to get rid of the white marks so a burnt face is a good face in my view at the minute ;D
