A friend of mine upgraded so he's giving me this. I've an extra hard drive.. So I'll be bootcamping Win7 on it.. It should be faster then the Dell 1501 single core laptop I've been stuck on... She's an old beast..but still has some life left in her..  |

That thing sounds awesome! I think that used Mac is superior to the computer I'm currently using in just about every aspect. I'll bet that instantly gives a boost to your game. I started playing on a fairly decent laptop that's actually better than that Dell you've been using and when I upgraded every aspect of my game improved instantly without me having to improve my skill level at all. It was almost like turning on a cheat code that made the enemy hitboxes a touch bigger. I'm excited for you and its not even my computer!

ok ,its pretty much up and running.. bought a large monitor and a 1 tb h/d. it doesn't like bootcamp, curses.. and the winewrappers i tried for ql were not so good. i do have QL running fairly well in Crossover..Just hope I can get win7 bootcamped before the move to Steam.  I've been on e-bay and should be able to upgrade the graphics card in a few weeks.. |
