learn.unrealtournament.com/tutorialsUnless I downloaded the wrong thing I think this is a link to their newest pre-release version of the game. I guess I downloaded the right one. I downloaded it last night and this morning is the first time I've ever played any Unreal Tournament game. Seems like a fun game, I like the weapon variety and how each mouse button shoots the weapon differently. Not too sure about the movement though. When I try to strafe jump I don't go anywhere. When I push the movement key twice real fast it sort of makes me do a bit of a "strafe jump" type of thing for one hop then my speed is back to being slow and clunky. So to me it feels like I'm walking through water but I can see how this could be fun. I played one game of CTF and my team got whooped. Which could be expected when its my first game and I got high score on my team. Not a lot of busy servers. I only found one in NA with enough people for a game. Seems much more popular across the pond.

I played a lot of UrT 99 back in the days.. I belonged to a mac pirate board and everyone chipped in for a Barryworlds custom server in England..Great times..Even with a high ping.. Custom skins could be funny.. I had a Best Buy skin, so I got fragged a lot.. This is the alpha d/l of what is to be the new free UrT.. I'll download it cause I'd like to see how far they have come along. Thanks for the link FunkyFlava .. |
