Last Tuesday Night (Read 587 times)

Last Tuesday night (cue a really bad parody of a decent Katy Perry song), DNA took part in a 4-way Clan Arena tournament with SPAMM, FOC, and Pi. 

A lot of us showed up- to watch as well as play, and it was one of the best experiences I ever had with the clan! The results didn't show how much effort and heart our playing members put into the matches. We ended up last place- but that means nothing. We gave it our hardest and we had a lot of fun, and we came closer as a team! 

Special mention goes out to Squidd, Funkyflava, Lowlife, and Thefragthief, all of whom played in the rounds with me. I could not have asked for a better crew in a 3v3! We held our own, guys! 

Super big thanks goes out to Blackpearl and swampy for cheering us on as we made sparks fly in the Arenas. Knowing you guys were there made it all the easier for us to give it our all!

Further note: This will quite probably be happening again every month. I fully intend on playing in as many of these as possible. More clans will probably be joining in next time, so we will have even more fun! If anybody wants to make a regular showing at these with me, feel free to do so! Just get some Clan Arena action ready, jump on Quake and Teamspeak, and we will have a blast.

It was Fun. The fact we came in last was not that we are not Decent Players, but we Play as "Go Out And Have Fun Clan", which out weighs any thing. I for one, am going to Play on the "UFT" Server quite often. For the simple fact I wont get Kicked from there.

The Clan War Scene has been Stagnent for a while. Maybe we can kickstart this back into action? Or at least Help it?

A lot of other clans don't have a web page or forum.. I'm thinking of setting up an "Inter Clan" board here on the Forum, Where people from other clans can connect with each other, etc.. They could post as guests.. But I'll restrict them from the other boards..

Just an idea.. Give me your thoughts?  I'll put in some controls for spammers, etc..But I'd like it so they don't feel they have to register here to post..

Definitely do it swampy! It's always good to have some healthy rivalries going on in competitive games- it keeps the games fun for the old players, and draws in new players.

If we could get the Clan War scene back online, lowlife, it'll be really fun hehehe

Should I call the board "Clan Wars? I need a name that people understand..

I'll have to set up a background/ logo etc..  Also I think I can set up a 3rd party chatbox just for this board and restrict guests from using ours..

It's what I like of the UFT server, everybody there are nice people and don't care about your score!

Multi Clan? Better than Inter Clan, but still...


And DSG, no problem for me to bring my pom poms during CA games, I hate CA so I will do the cheerleading

I like "Clan Wars"  Don't post until it's set up.. It will take me a few days..  It should be done by Monday.. And as I set it up and tweak it.. I'll also set up a "Clan Wars" #IRC

Also since the fact is you're working hard in school and playing QL and don't have a lot of time..I'll mod you for the board so you can stress out more...  I have no Mercy..
