kan3 If you want to play TDM you need to head over to the TDM pickup irc channel. That is where the majority of matches take place nowadays #tdmpickupEasy to get to grips with, if you need some advice while on the channel ask one of the op's ' whodares' (I still call him runny :/) will happily help you out. I am normally lurking around #drunk and #clanchill so if you get stuck or bored then I can sometimes be found there. Link for all irc channels via quakenet

Stil duel is about mapknowledge,and doesnt say much about your skil.
I constantly get beaten in duels by noobs,this week for example i lost 8/1 but i deald above 3000 damage and he did just 1200.
So who's better player then the one wo wins by powering up constantly or the one wo deals most damage?
Think most fair to see skil is start ca 1vs1,and you see true skill coming up becuase its all even.

You raging terrorj The reason you probably lost is because you don't play a lot of duels, it's like all the gametypes if you play one gametype more than the others then you are more than likely going to be well drilled in that gametype. So saying CA shows more skill is a little bit meh and I just cannot agree with you on it . All gametypes are different, CA is about damage + team play, CTF is about getting the flag and protecting your own, duel is about tactically making your way around the map and anticipating what your opponent is up to to give you the best chance of fragging your opponent. Plus 1v1 CA is complete tosh 90% of the time it is just LG on LG |

Duel is map knowledge and items are key. I know where terror is coming from though as i usually lose in a similar manner to him Much prefer CA as there is much less skill involved, don't need to concentrate  |

Nah wooks your not getting it Lets say i duel vs you,im much better player. Duel starts you take mh and ra and everything and have uhm 200/200 and i nothing because i cant find it. We start to fight and i do like 175/200 damage and you do 100/0 damage and win.Who's better then,the player wo deals almost 3 times more damage or the one wo knows to find the items?And that's why i said ca is better because of you play 1vs1 its al even,healt,ammo etc.(so duel without items) The one who wins that is the best player because it only can be won by being better and not by knowing faster to find the items |
