Lolzy talking? But my mic went to hell today Ok now seriously. PLEASE CONTROL QUAD You time the MH. Tell me what good will your MH do against a stacked Quad with LG/Plasma and two wingmen on his sides. There you go. What I propose is have everyone scramble to Quad each and every 120 seconds. Remember that PUs get spawned EVERY 120 seconds from 30 to 60 seconds from the beginning of the match. My suggestion is: Time RA/MH. But SCRAMBLE to Quad and enforce shutout on Q room. Fact is, as long as we've got Q covered, enemy will run for cover. Watch that each and every match we lost today was b/c of the Quad being not controlled fully or at all. To do this, the team must prevent the enemy from converging on Quad location. You shut out Quad @ 80-100 seconds into the match. Point is, you want to stay there long enough to get it but short enough not to be surrounded by the enemy. On Overkill for example, its hard to control both PUs. But this allows for predictable tactics: when we got Quad, enemy will try to snatch REGEN. So there's one place you can be sure they'll rush. When Quad is unavailable, that is when the enemy team controls it hard, we must time and control another PU at all costs. Be it BS or REGEN, we should try to hold this. I know it all sounds obvious. But in every team match of QW, Q2 or Q3 I played the only thing that mattered were the PUs. They're the proverbial feather that tips the scales. Only them. I used to finish 16-man FFAon Q3 pro server in 2000 under 4 minutes with 2 quad runs each netting 20+ frags. What Quad can do in a team game where there are your mates that cover you, you can prolly guess. Quad is generally considered superior to other PUs (see how BS-equipped guy goes down hard when he's LG-ed by a Quad). Also, getting Quad makes people stupid. Having quad is double the awareness and double the caution of a normal play. Why, you can probably guess. I write this though all of you know that full well. But trust me, the thing that wins the matches is PU control. Organized PU control. It takes a lot of balls and skill to counter Quad well. There's that old questionw hether Quad should involve himself in thawing or just press on. Difficult to tell. If there's mates around you can fortfeit thawing in the favor of nailing the enemy. If you're alone, well it's obvious what to do. And last but not least, QUAD NEEDS GUIDANCE. GUIDE QUAD TO THE ENEMY. Otherwise, it's wasted 16 seconds.

Lol I do 50 kills in 4 min without quad You all now what the quad damage does right,it makes you 3 times stronger. The battle suit does the opposite, makes all straight impact on you 50% no splash damage, can run trough lava and most important you can rocket jump without damaging yourself.Sow it means your fast enouch to get away from the quad,or be fast enouch to take it Now you now that, you all want the battle suit and play ca style on a ft server hell yeahh I want that Now its only a question for me which of the 2 you got the longest?Do you have battle suit twice as long? I think your complety right with it lolz, quad on the first place, battle on the second. Even more better is to have them both I remember 1 game I was playing with kanzo and he got quad and I had battle suit, pretty awesome whe were running next to eachother killing all enemies and they where really scared, lolll

If I have battlesuit and quad runner is near me I drop battlesuit for quad runner. But unless it's organised it can be quite difficult to achieve on certain maps.
TerrorJ if your about later on I need to try and get a map pool sorted out if you fancy helping out. I will also check to see if I can get toma and a few chills to help out this evening.

I think step one is having the clock counting upwise. otherwise saying Quad at 23 makes no sense at all. The rest I think I am with you on that. Powerups are really important, I don't care how many kills one can make or his k/d ratio, just get the damn power-up. Also I see practicing for cups being noted down here. IMO 2 things need to be worked on before even training, well maybe 3. 1. people need to get their binds/voice fixed and use it. 2. don't play in huge numbers, play 4v4 or 5v5 or whatever the cup teamsize is. 3. play the map pool, not just random maps. That's just what I wanted to add to your story.

Couple of good teams I think Still need a couple of reserve players. I have an idea on the teams, but need to think about it and maybe a get together to finalise everything

Reserve players could be useful indeed. Can a player play in one team and be a substitute in the other? (I'm afraid not, but it cost nothing to check)
