Apologies about last night, I should have let someone else jump in and take my place and shouldn't have pressed F3.

It's doing it again though. I thought it was my graphics card that was having issues.

But for some reason my game settings keep messing up every time I log back in to QL.

Anyone have any ideas?

Should I send a message to QL or should I back up config then remove everything for QL and then reinstall?

Completely confused about it.

Because when I log in to a match. The full screen decides to go into letterbox mode. I change that back.

Then FPS is at around 40, so then have to disable post processing, and do the com_maxfps 125 and cg_maxpackets 125 then everything is back to normal. VSYNC is off.

Not a clue why it is happening......

Ah you werent the one who got 5 kills But remove your old config and make a new one...Sounds a bit like the probem i recently had when i tried my new led screen.For some strange reason the ql configs dont work anymore after installing something new.Btw you yesterday said something about playing agains h8us sunday?Or was it the match i meant with 8?Otherwise i wil ask some other clans to practice sunday.

I was just going to speak to some of there members to see if we could arrange a quick match up one day before our next match.

You can try and arrange with 8 and I will try and grab a h8us member.

That was me with the 5 kills As I said last night I didn't really find a proper defend spot, what worked vs 8 didn't work vs awc. Now thanks to maxxus tips last night I understand the movement in Ironworks a lot better and I am looking to find a way to train it, as it is a premium map now.

About the config. I actually loaded in my Q3 config back in the day

+101 for the practice match vs 8 or h8us. If you happen to arrange both you may want to let me play 1 and Jorinde 1 as she will be playing the next 2 cup matches. I think that should be fair.

Hehe,just making some fun proph But if im honest,it was like playing with 3vs4.
You died like 50times or so..sow every 10 times you died you shot 1 lol.If i had saw it earlier i would have taken over.In the middle 1time i took our flag back and killed all 3the attackers,lol they didnt thought i would kill them all:p But whe all will get better Next year whe wil be the champs ^^ If whe cant arrange a match for sunday,i wil go to instagib net and there are always enouch clans who want to play.

It's funny actually because for my it felt 3 vs1. Lots of enemies managed to get in base unreported. I have been shot lots in the back, which is I admit my fault because I was standing in a pretty stupid place now I think of it. Because when I died it was hard to tell from that point if they went low or high or kept in base. So that's why I want to play ironworks in a pcw from the position max told me about last night. Same goes for courty ofcourse. I find these tips really helpfull and I think it can improve general teamplay.

One little thing I did notice I should work on my base unsafe saying. I noticed I forgot it sometimes and only said enemy in base without saying I was spawning somewhere else.

Actually i told you the spot which max told you long ago,but you wouldnt listen to me then.
You thought down was better :PSame with your sens,hope you have lowered it much more now...?
Also if someone wants premium for a month or something i propably can arrange that.
Dont know yet how it works with those tokens,but i have a cc.

But if you want to know how.

You go to the purchase pro/prem page on your own account.

Then go to the dropdown box and select 1 month token or whatever.

Then when you checkout your given a code which you can then use yourself or give to someone else to use.

To use the token the person just goes to the "redeem a token" page input the code and it automatically updates the persons account with either prem or pro.

But will speak to you later on.

Last time I changed my sens it fed up the whole month of games, now I am actually to the point of having a decent aim so I am not feeling like changing it, what works for me might not work for you and viceversa. Sometimes it is called target practice and not tweaking cfg. Actually I can't really remember that spot down there (near the 2 jumppads), only the one on top @ base. (IronWorks) I must have forgotten I guess.

I had the same problem with my configs to. This is how I solved it:

Backed up my config,
Deleted Quake Live,
Did a harddrive scan for "Quake", and deleted the remaining Quake files and folders,
Cleared all the browser cache, (very important!)
Reinstalled Quake Live.

That did it for me, hope it helps.
