I thought Duel is a proper test for individual skill. I started QL from FFA, but I'm almost done with it, it's too random.

I sort of disagree, in CA teamplay is way different then in TDM or CTF. Because you have items (Quad/RA/YA, etc) that spawn and you need to take these also. Also weapons that you need to take and bring to team mates. I see where you come from with that vision. In my opinion CA only shows how the teamwork is within CA but not in CTF or TDM. Also teamwork can only be 100% judged when everyone is on mumble.

I just wanted to point a few things out which you might didn't notice or thought about.

Right just to clarify because there seems to be some confusion.

I chose CA and FFA because there are loads of insta players and we really need some all weaps players as well.

We know who the good insta players are, We just don't know who we have who are decent at all weaps.

We want 2 teams entered into the next all weaps FT tourney. Plus 2 instaFT teams.

I personally will probably skip the instaFT tourney if we have a lot of insta players willing to play that gametype and take my place. But we need 3 more all weaps players for the all weaps FT tourney.

With regards to duels. We will be arranging some duel practice matches, but that will depend on who wants in aswell really. But I need to improve my overall duel play so I will try and get something done with that.

If you just want to stick to instaCTF or whatever then that's fine, but we need to find out who can do what in case we need a replacement player in all weaps matches.

Also I would like to arrange a regular scrim with noobeggz with various different gametypes, so getting a variety of players would make this a more enjoyable experience and they seem a decent bunch so would be a good exercise.

But in general this afternoons match is just a test of reliability and a way for us to see if we have any decent all weaps players that could aid us in upcoming tourneys.
