I'm going to say..He concentrated on JUST! running the flag, with team members giving him very heavy protection. This gives him time to run and dodge and NOT slow down by returning fire.. CTF is about the flag and teamwork..not how many kills you get.

The best CTF teams I see usually have a very good flag runner with supporting members..

What he meant was that our aim accuracies were around the 10-20% mark in our previous matches.

If you can't shoot your opponent then you can't defend. It's as simple as that.

Improvements needed in accuracy for defensive play, then they work on the speed and tactical play of flag running and all round positioning.

Your post above is completely irrelevant because the chills (blue team) don't play instaCTF that much, so weren't really expected to get a result. In fact I would say they have played 75% less instaCTF than we did.

Sure they can aim, but if they don't play that gametype then there not expected to win. Therefore not a good example to point out your theory.

I go with wooks,the better the acc the better the defense will be and the stronger the team will look for the opponent.Also the more kills the defenders do the more frustating your opponent will get.Its also a thing where you can work on as individual,sow when your playing alone.And also some pro's adviced me to tell it my members.And when i look at those gamedetails,chill didnt make a chance.But feel free to join some practice with us,im sure whe could use some of your experience and maybe you have some tips...when you see us playing...probably whe got a practice match this weekend.

I think I have to join Maxxus on his point. The reason why frackov didnt hit anything is because his clan knew they'd win so they just did it to make the enemy clan feel even more worse while just relying on teamwork so frackov could cap the flag. (might also be to fear other clans)

CTF is about teamwork, with good teamwork both defenders can die and possibly attackers could bring back flag. You need to know at all costs where the flag is at. for example when you know he is entering low garden on jap castle and you have 20% acc, you can still shoot him from the box. Guaranteed hit, giving the fact you are a somewhat experienced player and just having a bad day)

As for acc, I have times when I am defending, my acc goes up to 40. But we still lose. because the other team members don't really give out info's on the flag or enemy, so when they frag me and flag goes away, no one can stop it once it's out of the base. So it's not all about acc.

But, I do agree we in general need to work on our acc. But it's not all that iCTF is relying on.

The thing I was pointing out is that you can't win only with your accuracy. The image I showed you is all about teamwork. And I think you guys first need to work on your teamwork instead of boosting you personal accuracies. The team accuracies has got nothing to do with the outcome if your teamwork is like a baby doll without panties.

Let me explain myself a bit clearer:

1:
Teamwork = Better Team feeling. Example: You know your teammate is going back for the enemy attacker that slipped threw your mid defence line. If your teammate is getting killed trying to catch the attacker, your teammate is giving extra information about that enemy player. (where is he going, flag going high, and so on...) That is something that will boost up your teamwork like crazy.

2:
Better teamwork = Higher chance to be at certain locations to kill the enemy.

And after a couple of training matches we finally get to the current subject:

Teamwork boosting = Higher accuracies. If your team is working good together (no matter if you win or lose), the overall vibe in your team is going up like crazy. You feel much more confident to show the enemy team who the hell they are messing with. And at that point your team is like a small oiled machine. You mark my words, your accuracies are going up like crazy if you know you got your total team behind you.

ye totally right and thats exactly why i didnt sign up for the new ictf cup this month.
First want to practice a month with the new team.
But still i like that everyone works on his acc/indvidual skill if you take a team of t2 players against t4 players they dont make a chance.Just because they will get shot everytime.(just for example)Thats not how i see my team,now everyone is pretty good,but the enemies where everytime like svskil 140/150 or something.And then i already now they are like 50% better then players whe have in the team.And the teamwork ofc needs to get better,and it will.Team is just like 3 weeks old,sow its gonna get oiled this month

Clanbase is starting 4 open cup's:tdm,ctf,ictf and ift.
Sign ups close this coming sunday.
And the first match week starts monday 1st of october,sow still 3 weeks to practice.
I still need 1 or 2 players in the ictf team,but if there are enouch interest for 2teams or another gametype or something just let it now and whe sign you up.But be fast,gotta do it before sunday

Actually...don't count on me, I can't play quake anymore Ping is over 500 since yesterday. I had hoped it would be ok again today but no such luck. My entire internet is slow since yesterday. But only on my pc.

I have udp 27000 to 27999 for QL game traffic opened in my router.

Also check to see if another program in your PC is causing the traffic.. Maybe a Trojan that you Windows users seem to get.
