if you using QLprism and not browiser to play quake, then it's already implemented into the greasemonkey script where you can turn it on or off..

The main thing is knowing who has the script, so you can join a pro server they are on.

if you are pro and running the script.. let me know so I can change your name to red in the friends list.

for a game as quake still hard to believe QL won't just add alot more features, that wouldn't take much time to add.. like for example, group chat, auto invite script group (like, make a list of who you give out auto invites, incase you got alot of friends or in different clans).. stuff like that just to make everything alot more easier

its not like its automatically invites everyone online, if someone writes "invite" to you, you will automatically send him/her an invite
