Maybe I just grew up in hick town, USA. Here I thought it was a fancy Canadian thing. Though, it's not 24/7. They close liquor stores at 9.

It's rare in the US. Besides us, I think las Vegas is the only other place serving alcohol 24/7 . Although you can get home deliveries in a lot of places.

Ahh so recently I have been told a person who I was about to start working with has passed away at the age of 28. So you can expect me on QL tonight to blast some fools and blow steam out of my ears. Even though I have never met him in person it still hit me.
So who is with me to rail some keels or tanks into nirvana tonight?

Well get used to it Proph,it stays difficult but there are gonna come whay more. I've already lost a few friends,1 was 32 just married and 3 kids. Still remember his singles night as yesterday. It was between christmas and new year that he died. The other was 23 and drove his car full speed against a tree. They had to scrap him together from the road.Another one last year was killed by the police, because he didnt stop on his bike they gave him a tik with their car and that was the end. But also the older you get you will see all your family members and friends etc die. Its just a thing you better dont think about and play some quake instead.

It is the human condition. Life is fragile, however I would think instead of sitting on your bum hole you'd be driven to get out and about. Not that games aren't a fun way to pass the time. But when tomorrow is never guaranteed you can't very well have a life adventure staring at a screen.
Go skinny dipping, streaking, drunken slip n slide, make stuff explode (don't worry you don't need all 10 fingers) fake a seizure in the middle of a crowded street just to get a cute girls number. Life is too short to live it sanely.

Run up a huge bar tab, then see how long you can evade an angry bartender by running out of the bar with 10 x$25.00 shots of high end Tequila in you!...

I'd suggest some drunken olympic type endurance training before attempting such a stunt. When you can spin in your computer chair for 30 seconds and run 100 feet when hammered - you're ready. now here's some real sport

@proph didnt see you last night...barely dont see you play anymore. Youre not gonna be prepared for the ictf cup like this. You still wannna play, then I suggest to go practice like hell!! You where last cup at 70svskill,which already is way to low. Thats why you first was a reserve player for pavzz. I'm having with iffa svskill 198 now, just to give an example cause i dont want the others to now how good i am with ictf

svskill doesn't really mean anything in my opinion, it's just one of the many factors that makes you be in a certain tier. I've seen pro's on public servers with svskill 92 getting nothing more but a decent score. So svskill doesn't really have a value for me, so I never look at it.
Anyway given the fact I just noticed the first match is proposed for over 2 weeks I guess I'll be fine by then.
Some nice news, is that I am saving money for a new PC! woot. Will be about 1500 euro's. I will get myself a proper mousepad and keyboard (I'm using an old COMPAQ lol)

I'm really bored so went out and bought loads of different beers I'm yet to try. This one is quite nice, but not a patch on Hobgoblin which is another Wychwood beer which is what I have been drinking quite recently. It was out last year but never got round to trying it. They say it's made using pumpkins but there isn't really much of a pumpkin aroma or taste. You can slightly smell the pumpkin if you concentrate, but taste wise it's really difficult. But a nice refreshing beer none the less, but not a patch on Hobgoblin.
