Going to look at cars tomorrow. My poor car has finally died Started it this morning and was making a terrible knocking noise, I got as far as the end of my drive to open the gate and then BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG so turned it off. Tried to start it again but wouldn't start. Just some whirring noise from the ignition. Someone came out to collect it to see what was wrong with it. Timing belt had split and has caused a "catastrophic engine failure" (his words) Basically not worth the money to get it repaired. No idea what I am actually looking for. Just going to go have a look around and see if anything takes my fancy

Cheapest way is to cut out the floor and make it a flinstone car. But thats the worst case for a engine, the belt does the timing of the in and outlet ports. When that timing is wrong the piston which goes up and down will crash against the ports in you cilinder which makes them brake and scratch the hole engine and that sort of damage. When that happens to me I just buy a other engine for like 200 euro and 2 evening work This could all have been prevented by buying a new belt on time for like 15 euro. or shouldnt I have told that XD

The car is fully serviced and had it's belts changed last year for it's 130,000 miles service.
The mechanic thinks when the belts were installed they were on too tight which has caused a premature breakage of the timing belt.
He did say I could try and complain, but thinks I will be fobbed off so no point.
But the belts themselves were under a year old, have done less than 15,000 miles

Wow that's indeed the fault of the garage then,I would be mad But if you dont try you never know, good garage wants to keep his name good. or maybe you can buy a much cheaper car there...because the damage is their fault...

Wooks there are only 2 other clans for the ft cup? Doesnt make much sense to start that. 7 clans for the ift and 13 for ictf. And I see prophy has signed up for tdm with other clan. That's why we dont see him anymore and he is always practicing with them... worldgamersarena.com/clanList/

Yea I know. 3 clans are yet to join because of issues with registering on the site. They should join within the next few days. I am still in discussions with 2 other clans but they are being a bit assey about the settings. For some reason they think uFreeze is too fast and should have a round timer. Basically they want a normal standard FT server. That isn't going to happen, so have to try and persuade them to join anyways. So we should have at least 6 clans playing FT but maybe 8 if all goes well. I know about prophy, he asked me in irc if he could play TDM for whatever his clan is called (memory like a sieve) and I said yes. He will play insta or uFreeze as a reserve. I thought I pm'd you about it? If not i'm letting you know now.

Ufreeze has awesome settings! I like the fact that the winning team isn't automatically thawed and you start with all weapons.
Did you decide on the car Wooks?

Yea the settings are good. They are just being a little bit picky and petty.
I am getting a land rover discovery, I did look at a new VW Jetta but much prefer a 4x4. Passed a land rover dealer popped in and the rest as they say is history.

Ufreeze has horrible settings! I hate the fact that the winning team isn't automatically thawed and you start with all weapons. pub ft settings ftw
