Of what? The beer? That my friend was drunk during Sundays Italian Grand Prix.
But I can take one of my newest batch later on if you want that should be about drinkable now?

Ok I have done 2 batches of cider. One was just one of those cider kits. (£5 from tesco, couldn't resist trying it) The second is a recipe off the internet using pressed pears. Now the effort that went into making this was absolutely mind numbingly boring. Crush the pears, press the pears and so on and on and on and on and on. By the end of it I was sick of bloody pears. I don't know how many pears I used but it was enough to fill my fermenting bucket. If your going to do this I recommend getting one those electronic juicer things. We had one in the cupboard that we just never use (fad purchase). I didn't add sugar to it, I'm hoping the sugars in the fruit will commence the fermentation process. Which I'm told will happen. One thing I hate is over sweet cider. It smells absolutely lush, but I won't have a clue what it's like for at least 4 to 5 weeks. I also added some berries to it to give it a festive type of feel. That was my addition so if that makes it go tits up then it's my fault ;D Obviously I haven't a clue what there going to be like until taste time but if it tastes alright I will let you's know what it's like

Had to bin the cider made with the kit as I got up this morning and went to the garage to check things out and some how the lid has come off my fermenting bucket. Gawd knows how, so I'm gonna make another batch of that. I think I might have knocked it the other day. But I'll just blame the missus it's more fun ;D The festive experimental cider looks fine, I have weighed down the lid to make sure that one doesn't pop off either. I've ordered one of those co2 injection kits to test out hopefully I will get better results with that.

OMG a bit late but heh ho. My pressed cider recipe was ok, nothing special. It was very tart and had a slight syrupy texture which I found weird.
It might have needed a bit longer fermenting but I had people to get drunk so it all went to that.
ANYWAYS.......
I am going to have a bash at dandelion and burdock beer, there was just a program on the TV and thought I might give it a go.
Might have to wait a few more weeks for a good batch of dandelions and burdock root, so it should be an interesting project.
