It's the pleasure of learning to do this in Linux.. hee I'd go back to fraps on my macbook/win7 but the graphics card sucks.. It's getting closer on the Linux end where it will be simple soon.

Then I'll write a tutorial for sc0rpi..

I'm also reading instructions on installing wolfcam in linux . It seems to work.

I'll report back later..


Ok here's a wolfcam linux test using the .cfg tomac listed (nice) I can get the recordings back to 720p for youtube. Sound is still off , though.

Ya.. Theres actually a Linux launcher in wolfcam.. No need to run the windows .exe through wine. I tried the .exe in wine and it froze my comp when I went to shut down wolfcam.

The Linux launcher works fine.. Ubuntu 11.10..(fallback to gnome classic cause Unity sucks)

Wolfcam goes all blue for me as soon as somebody gets fragged and the gibs fly around...
Lower settings fix it.

I've got the sound close to being synced.

Blurring of the enemy and geometric cubes instead of gibs were done on purpose..

Apologies for the delay Skty I know it's been ages

A couple of nice air rocks on this vid.

I followed toma's guide for wolfcam and was very informative. I need to do some more bits with the config and other stuff.

But will practice in the coming weeks and get together some great frags and maybe try my hand at a frag movie.

But depends on how I get on

go to wolfcamql.i386

right click mouse/properties/permissions and check on execute..allow executing file as program..now close it..right click to run,,

use this auto exec. all the crud has been taken out of it..

f9 to start record
f10 to stop

arrow keys stop,ff,and slow mo demo..

its been set to record as demo avi..so you can then drop it in handbrake to shrink it..
