Yep, quality is awesome! But for duels you could use less detail (r_picmip %$) to make it look more clean.(just a suggestion, you can leave it like this if you want  ) Good advice.. I set r_picmip to 4 and I'm seeing a big reduction on the avi I render.. It's saving me 300 megs.And still clean and watchable,, It will show in my next upload.. Whats the difference? do you mean "r_picmip" or actually "r_picmap"? because i like the outcome. it was r_picmip.. I've corrected my drunk misspelling.. Not sure If I'm happy with "4" although it runs well.. next demo I will try "3".. Also remember I'm doing this in Linux.. I've found that picmip set to lower levels can result in a smaller render.. And kill the blurframes completely. blur frames make for a much longer recording time and to me, a bad look.. Also because I'm in Linux.. Virtual Dub using wine to run ..Is  .. So, I'm recording to a big ass avi in wolfcam.. I render that down to a compressed avi using WinFF which is a GUI for ffmpeg. After this I can upload it or send it off to a video editor.. Works very sweet.. |

Kanzo (POV) vs T0maccoMARS @ Dismemberment Quality is much better when watching on youtube main site and in 720p. I think the quality is compromised on this forum slightly because the video is native widescreen and our videos on this forum are broadcasted in 4:3 letterbox mode. @swampy Is there any way of changing the youtube settings on these forums to allow both 4:3 and 16:9 vid broadcast? Or am I embedding the video wrong? If it's a lot of work then there's no point really |
