STEP 1: Setting up WolfcamDownload the latest version of WolfcamQL, you can find the download links here, the latest version is at the bottom of the page.
www.esreality.com/?a=post&id=2094114Install it, go to %appdata%\id Software\quakelive\baseq3
(start->run->%appdata%[you should know this...])
copy all the map files and put them into your Wolfcam installation folder, Wolfcam won't work without this!
Start Wolfcam and check if it works(run a demo)
you can see it doesnt look as nice as in the fragmovies, so you need a config
STEP 2.1: Write a configYou can either write your own config, which is really hard to do since Wolfcam has alot more commands you can use than QL, or download a config, I recommend aNtii's config since it is really easy but the quality is awesome.

www.quakelive.com/forum/showthread.php?11633-QUAKELIVE-movie-making-guide-by-aNtii [forum thread]
You can customize this config however you want it to be.
Put the config file into your %appdata% \wolfcamql\wolfcam-ql
Run Wolfcam again and see if it looks better than before, if it doesnt, you did something wrong.
STEP 2.2: Customize the config for your needsA list of the important commands you should change(with a little note):
seta cg_drawCrosshair "0" //set it to 2 for normal +
seta cg_fov "107" //I prefer 110, but set it to whatever you like[107 is also okay]
seta cl_aviFrameRate "125" //if you want to record a whole match, set it to 30 or 40; if you want to make a slow-mo, set it to >60.
STEP 3: Record a demo in WolfcamBasically, this config is all you need.
Important binds:
F3 //disable all HUD elements(for fragmovies)
DOWNARROW //pause the demo
RIGHTARROW //fast forward
UPARROW //slows the demo down
LEFTARROW //back to normal speed
F9 //capture AVI and WAV (video and sound)
F10 //stop capturing
Don't be surprised, the demo goes VEEEEEEEERYYYYYYY slooooooowww while capturing.
STEP 4: RenderingThis is the step that will most likely need the most time.
You need Virtual Dub, download here:
sourceforge.net/projects/virtualdub/files/virtualdub-win/1.9.11.32842/VirtualDub-1.9.11.zip/downloadInstall and start VDub.
Press File(upper left) and open video file.
Go to your %appdata% \wolfcamql\wolfcam-ql\videos and select the first screenshot in there.
Now press the play-button(bottom right), instead of one screenshot, a video should be played.
Now go to Video(upper left again) and Frame rate, set the source frame rate to what you've recorded with(e.g. if you used cl_aviframerate 30, set it to 30)
click OK.
Press File and then save as AVI, let it render the video. You are done with VDub
STEP 5: Syncing upNow open Sony Vegas or whatever program you use and sync the video file, which currently has no sound, with the WAV in your %appdata% \wolfcamql\wolfcam-ql\videos
Shouldnt be a problem if you know how to use the editing program.
Render it and you are finally done!
